Also, for what it's worth, not only does YYZ have a waiver reducing their divergence from 15° to 10°, but on their SID traffic off runway 05 climbs on essentially runway heading and doesn't turn 10° away from traffic off the south side till 5.7 DME so if Transport allows that...

Yes they have 10,860 feet between centerlines there compared to 7,150 at YYC but we have a stagger. I know absolutely nothing about terminal control but 10° with the immediate turns already in place at YYC seems (compared to what's already in place in Toronto) like oodles of room?
