Yeah there are some great designs in Vancouver, I just find the majority of the towers to be less than exceptional (same with most cities really) especially with the sea foam green glass on the majority of them. Calgary has been making big strides, but there are still too many glass boxes. This city needs to embrace mixed use towers! I'm also hoping some of the rumoured towers here are as nice as they sound.
I think the biggest difference between Vancouver and Calgary is the former has found it's identity and knows what kind of city it is and where it wants to be, the latter is still lost in that regard. I hope to get to Vancouver this summer, been a few years and I love it there!
