I'm sure that if Shannon Park was redeveloped, work could be done to put the lines underground and then dedicate a right-of-way or easement for the lines from Shannon to the power plant.

Not sure if there would be an effort as new power systems come online, that this plant could be decommissioned (much like the one near the Farmers Market)? Except in this case - I'd say just get rid of it.
