Some project updates in the Star Phoenix on Saturday:

1. The Court of Queens bench courthouse on Spadina will be receiving a $5 million 3 storey addition (sounds like construction to start this year)

2. The provincial gov't passed the 'strata legislation' that Lake Placid and Stoneset Equities (Lighthouse) were waiting for to proceed with their projects. The short article indicated that Stoneset is expected to start construction next to the police station this summer and Lake Placid is expected to "start soon" (whatever that means). No excuses left now for these projects....if we don't see some action soon, my fear is that they will be delayed until the current market dowturn corrects itself (although Lake Placid still indicates their financing is in place)
