They are putting up the covered scaffolds on the street next to the sidewalk
for pedestrians to walk under. They started earlier in the week. Saw them when I was walking home from the Clark/Lake CTA station yesterday evening.
This morning when I went by at 10am or so, workmen were continuing to build them. These are the type where they fill the space between the plywood with concrete, just like at Waterview.
