Here's the Santa Maria Masonic Temple from a slightly different angle. There's more information about it at the Historical Marker Database. It says that the basement housed the first telephone company in Santa Maria, but that lodge meetings ended after the building was damaged in the earthquakes of 1926 and 1927. No demolition date is given, but the site is now just the middle of one side of an anonymous parking lot.
