Well, do you have any evidence to support your claim that he did a “trash job” as the Governor of the Bank of England?
I certainly don’t think you’ll find any evidence that he did a “trash job” while serving as the Governor of the Bank of Canada either. His success as Governor of the Bank of Canada is quite literally what got him the bigger job with the Bank of England.
