Ultimately, Gladstone would have been the obvious choice instead of digging up dirt on its namesake in order to erase him from a station (but not the street or the "Village", yet). That said, Corso Italia is the name given to Preston, so Via Marconi, the name given to Gladstone, would have been more accurate.

Sometime street names should just be street names. Same with cities, regions or whatever. If everyone forgot who these places were named for, why do we have to ruin it by digging up the past and adding confusion.
