Aquariums don't keep killer whales.
When I say aquarium I mean by native fish to our region as well as educational. The Texas State aquarium is nice but it's not close by. I also am not a supporter of aquariums like the new Austin Aquarium which is a private business. I really question the ethics of opening something like that in a shopping center. Being a aquarium hobbyist, I take up most care and create natural living habitats that the fish live in such as my Amazon 120 gallon.
Having said that and reading the posts, I also think that a museum would make the best fit for Seaholm. Weather it be art or even natural history. I love the Natural History Museum in Houston and Seaholm would make an awesome natural history museum. They wouldn't have to alter the interior at all with the huge space Down the middle.
