Was there any type of down payment involved to reserve a unit?

No one's found any more renderings of Block 1 yet? I know they're out there.

Refundable deposits. Units complete in 2016.

Either way, he was dead wrong.
1) the building design didn't change at all when they went from apartments to "condos." They are very similar to Gables (next door) $2,000 month rent.

2) nothing has sold.

3) in +2 years we'll see if buyers are willing to pay $500 PSF.

The market makes the final determination on prices and this project is comparable to AMLI, Gables and Hanover apartments. There are few amenities and questions about the buildings quality - those should be answered soon.

Great location, though.

Solutioneur, you know these were originally designed as condos before they ever switched to apartments in the last downturn right?

I won't try to change your mind as it seems set but I'm pretty excited about this project. Whether the deposits are refundable or not for the time being it says a lot for them to all go in such a short time.

Furthermore, the number of units decreased between the apartment "design" and the current condo "design." So, yes, technically, the design has changed again (amongst more detailed changes I will not get into at this juncture).

The "interior design" of these units will not be equivalent to the apartments next door. So, Andrew (Solutioneur), don't have a stroke over cost. And, just curious, how have your other ventures, Sojourn and New Century Living, turned out?

If you are Andrew West...you are a scam artist and should be banned from this forum!!!

If they are sales.

It will be interesting to see if anything changed from the cheaper Apartment plans. So far, they're no different than the Gables apartments next door. They should share that information - especially for any buyers.

How do you know they are no different than the Gables?

To my knowledge they have not finalized appliance or finish packages at Seaholm which is why the reservations are refundable.

Additionally please show me some "cheap apartments" that have 10 foot ceilings, and gas ranges.

You should probably think a little harder or do a little more research before you post.

Out of curiosity, Solutioneur do you think that Gables Park Tower and Gables Park Plaza have the same level of finish out?

Btw I just got off the phone with one of the representatives for Seaholm, she told me all 280 units are reserved, and I ask if the tower was U/C and confirmed that it was. Exciting times...

This is a very strong showing for more owner occupied units downtown. I'd expect some more projects to pop up given the strength of this.

You didn't by any chance happen to ask her how tall it would be did you? I haven't gotten an answer back about it yet.

I heard that it would be 314 feet to the main roof, but I'm not sure if that is still valid. And I'm wondering what the height to the mechanical penthouse is since it should be about another 10 feet. Ask for both heights if you can.

Site plan now available. Nearly 321' to main roof from what I've looked at.

Actually those who made a reservation will be going into contract in 90 to 180 days. Seller asking for 5% down. Dont think that it will be refundable which tells me all details will be released at that time.
