Those aerial shots are amazing. Partly because they got really lucky with the light (the clouds casting shadows around lower Manhattan, but not on), and partly because William Beaver House is almost entirely obscured. ;)

I don't know quite why, but this picture really spoke to me. It's amazing. This tower looks like its entire facade is made of canvas fabric, like a sail, and this is what happens on a windy day. What's more unbelievable is this head-on shot really shows me how much of an instant landmark this is. Just another one to add to New York's already brilliant roster. :cheers:

I know the flat side is much maligned on this forum (i think every one agrees the wavy sides are spectacular), but i actually like the flat side. I love the verticality of it, it's smooth straight lines with the slight set backs on it's edges. I can only imagine that in a shot straight up it must really soar.

Definitely one of the top buildings in North America.

I have to say, sometimes the finished building looks hardly anything like the rendering, but in this case its hard to tell if what we're looking at is the actual photo! Amazing design.:cheers:

Love it, see it from my apt windows, still convinced they (boorishly) value engineered the south facade and yet hoping the roof wasn't designed as such.

I suppose I'm waiting for a finalé which will never come. Never the less, I hope for something special at top if even only an undulating parapet.

on some of those pictures it almost looks like if the wind is blowing towards the middle wing, blowing the facade towards downtown with a stronger effect as it gets taller.

this is my first post here,as i been only paying attention to the trade center/freedom tower...anyway this is one heck of a building.....i love it and will take plenty of pics when i come to the city......again this is a beauty....
