This tower looks good. It should be in New York. It would be the city's tallest building for three years.

This should have been the new world trade centers :worship:

It looks like there is a lot of room for high-rises behind it.

Any evidence that with the Dubai economy crashing more attention will revert back to cities traditionally resulting in steady growth?

How long before development returns to Hong Kong?

It would make one world trade center look short if standing side by side in New York.

I think this is an alright tower. Nothing special. Kind of a disappointment considering it's height...

I wouldn't count on it with the housing bubble about to burst. residential vacancies in china are averaging 50%. The same disaster that hit dubai will unfortunately hit hong kong and shanghai, but not quite as hard.

Yeah, the problem with the perception of its height is the fact that the "fatties" next door are over 800+ ft tall.

While it is a tall building at over 1600ft - it hides its height very well - this is because of the width of the building - which hides its dimensions vey well. as an example, the World Trade centre was 1362ft tall by 209ft wide and it looked more imposing and the height was more apparent. Never the less this building is very good and will be in my Top 20 Skyscrapers in the world!

This building needs to be featured in a movie and it will definately become popular and iconic. looks like Shangai & Guanzou in China will take the centre stage with their awesome buildings as construction of current and future buildings will show how strong China is as a fture leader in commerce!

Those lights coming off the building kind of remind me of the lights that would come of the original World Trade Center before September 11th.

This one was off the radar for a while, but is certainly one of the better additions. I really don't know much about it, but if its completed we can move it so someone can create the new thread.
