Interesting Facts/Records (in own words):Mast was from 1939 to 1945 the tallest construction in Europe and the second tallest in the world! It carried a metal lense with a height of 4 metres and a diametre of 25 metres on its top and was therefore a guyed mast, which looked like very unusual

A diagram from this interesting guyed mast is already drawn. Unfortunately only a few debris of the basement are remaining.
The mast was dismantled by the Soviet troups. It is claimed, it was rebuilt in Russia, but it is not known where. There are
also rumours that Raszyn Radio Mast ( http://www.skyscraperpage.com/diagrams/?b41846 ) is the rebuilt mast of Deutschlandsender Herzberg/Elster.
