Ah ouais, it was hot this summer, I know. Not to mention the drought. People are even missing the rain.
Did you have decent amenities where you stayed? A/C? I hope so.
What a shame (and a pain) not to have it anywhere these days.
Some locals even left their apartments for hotel rooms fitted with A/C. And of course, supply went to shortage in that matter.
Some local A/C vendors turned millionaires in just a couple of months, lol.

The inner city is also too mineral, lacking trees. Greenery helps very much in those heatwaves.
