Gicon-Höhenwindrad - The world's tallest wind turbine | Under construction

Minimum height with rotor blades: 332.5 meters (1,091 ft)
Maximum height with rotor blades: 365 metres (1,198 ft)

Quote:

With a total height of 365 meters, the GICON High-Altitude Wind Tower is the second-tallest structure in Germany after the Berlin TV Tower.
This makes the GICON High-Altitude Wind Tower significantly taller than any existing wind turbine.

The GICON high-altitude wind measurement tower confirmed the assumption that at 300 meters, the wind blows more steadily and strongly
than at lower altitudes. The GICON high-altitude wind tower can generate more than twice as much energy as conventional wind turbines.

To install a turbine at this height, GICON developed a telescoping device that allows the turbine to be assembled at a height of 150 meters and
then hoisted to its final position—a world first. In addition to locally produced steel for the lattice mast structure, the GICON high-altitude wind tower
relies on proven technologies to increase productivity and cost-effectiveness.
