It's too bad you didn't have a chance to pull off into Downtown Monroe and walk around there. It looks like it has some interesting buildings. You did get a nice picture of the skyline. If you crop out the guardrails in the foreground, it would be a really good picture.

I don't think Grambling State or Louisiana Tech have been shown on here before.

I have to admit that most of those pictures of the outskirts of all the towns are pretty bland and could really picture anywhere, but sometimes some of it is interesting to an outsider. A picture of yours from some other thread was where I learned about the Huddle House chain, and your picture of a Dilla's here is the first time I've ever heard of that chain. Pictures of Kohl's stores or Target stores or Sam's Clubs don't show much to outsiders, but pictures of local chains are more interesting.
