Nice pictures! I especially liked the pictures of the new stadium being built.

I will offer up some constructive criticism again, since these pictures are better than many of the other threads. Sorry, but it's true. What makes many of these good is that they show unique places. Many of your threads are of suburbia or outskirts of towns, and they all look the same. If you take a picture of the inside of a Holiday Inn with no context (like discussing the history of the chain and why the hotels are located where they are, for instance), or of a McDonald's or Jiffy Lube oil change place (which exist in the hundreds or thousands in the US), how does someone really know that that is the city in Mississippi or Tennessee that you say it is? Those places look the same in all the cities, and thus in a way are not too interesting or captivating.

On the other hand, many of these pictures are unique. You cannot attend a Titans home game anywhere, or on any day. So that is something more interesting than a strip of fast food joints. Even the pictures of Prince's Hot Chicken are more interesting, because Prince's Hot Chicken is not available all over the US, and maybe even not around too much of Tennessee.

It would also be better if these were resized a little more. You can get an Imageshack subscription or something like $50 a year.

Hopefully this helps you grow as a photographer.

Thank you xzmattzx, I appreciate the constructive criticism I now understand what you been saying and will try to get more downtown pictures of Little Rock and Baton Rouge when I'm in the area. And you're very much so right. Thank you for viewing and giving your assessment. I'm going to also post my visit of local classic restaurants that aren't in other regions of USA. The only reason I would post small towns was because I visit them a lot but I now understand that every small suburban town in America has the same aesthetics so I will only post major cities from here on out. Thanks again friend

Looks like you guys had a good time. I hear a lot of good things about Nashville. Up and coming city, people say. I can see what they mean. Looks like some exciting things happening there. Will be a very interesting city to watch. Even that power centre looks nicer than usual.

I don't know if I am imagining things, but these photos seem much sharper than your previous photos.

Remember some sites like Flick will generate resized versions that will fit this forum better. Unfortunately, this forum software is quite old so it does not automatically resize photos to fit the browser as a newer forum would.

Thank you Doady for the compliment. I agree Nashville is up and coming metropolitan. They are gonna have a lot new developments around new stadium like new Tennessee performing arts center etc. They are fast approaching eastern city level growth I hope they host the Super Bowl in 2029. And I keep forgetting about Flickr. Do I have to have a paid membership with them to post my content? Or is it free? Thanks again you have any plans for Thanksgiving holiday season?

Flickr free account has 1000 photos limit, but they resize for you and on each photo page there is share button, click BBCode, then copy/paste here. Only other restriction is you can't download the original size files if they are more than 1024x768. You can see my page here, also free account: https://flickr.com/photos/disenchantedconnecting/

Thanksgiving was last month in Canada. It is colder in Canada, harvest is earlier, so we must also give thanks earlier.

I remember watching video of some former NBA players on YouTube discussing which cities for possible NBA expansion. Of course, Seattle, Vancouver and Las Vegas were mentioned, but one of them also mentioned Nashville. Maybe too close to your Grizzlies?

Thank you man I will definitely make an account asap. Your profile is amazing and the detail in your pictures is incredible. That’s awesome did yall have a Black Friday shopping day as well. I love this time a year to get to spend time with family and friends. I’m not sure about that but I’d say Las Vegas is shoe in with amazing Aces winning back to back to back championships. I’d love to see Montreal, Quebec get a team. I see their arena is big enough to host NBA games and demand for a team would definitely be there too.

Thank you, VetteKing. Yes, Black Friday today, mall was packed, but I didn't see anything good except Spam -25% off at Walmart, bought a 12-pack.

Yes, Montreal could definitely support an NBA team. A few NBA players - Lu Dort, Ben Mathurin, Chris Boucher - are from there. Montreal girls are hotter than Toronto girls so a Montreal team would have no problem attracting free agents. But Vancouver would have to be the priority because Portland is too isolated, and they need to move Minnesota to the Eastern Conference. Three Pacific NW teams - Portland, Seattle, Vancouver - would be a natural rivalry too.

Nice tour! Your photography skills are gradually improving. Keep it up!

Btw, I hope the Niners beat the Titans in a couple weeks! Need to keep our slim playoff chances alive.

The city recently got rid of the mess of high voltage power lines that crossed the Cumberland River right in this area between Downtown and the stadium. You might not have noticed it but if you look closely you will see that the poles are still up but the wires are gone. It must have been a very expensive fix but it was worth it.
