Permits Filed for 23-15 43rd Avenue in Long Island City, Queens

Quote:
Permits have been filed for a 39-story residential building at 23-15 43rd Avenue in Long Island City, Queens. Located between 23rd Street and 24th Street, the lot is two blocks from the Court Square-23rd Street subway station, served by the E, G, M, and 7 trains. William Xu of Grand Construction and Development is listed as the owner behind the applications.

The proposed 446-foot-tall development will yield 268,204 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 387 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 693 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and 66 enclosed parking spaces.

Handel Architects is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits will likely not be needed as the lot is vacant. An estimated completion date has not been announced.

I'm a little confused by this lot. Is this tower also going on the same lot in the dark grey area in the above schematic?

It's possible, or it's possible that they are one and the same. I can't pull up anything for either. However, these ae the known addresses...

24 STREET 42-54 - 42-54

43 AVENUE 23-01 - 23-17

23 STREET 42-63 - 42-63
