Stanford & Palo Alto, CA

The first few photos are from the newly renovated Portland International Airport (PDX). After that, I flew to California to visit an old college friend, walk around Stanford’s campus, and spend time in Palo Alto. Enjoy.

Nice tour! Palo Alto is great. Just wish they weren't so NIMBY. But awesome weather, great access to hiking trails, nice little homes with well landscaped yards, nice little downtown area, good schools, decent university. Hard to complain.

I used to hop the fence and do the Dish walk at night pretty often in Undergrad. It was closed at night but was a great place to relax and see the city lights.

Lovely pics. And yeah, the town should have about 5x more people but for their disgusting NIMBY wall.

Nice pics. Almost has a film vibe to them. Used to hit up PA at least once a week to grab a beer and pizza. As for Nimbyism, seems like Menlo Park is benefiting pretty well from that.

I was there twice in the past year (for homecoming and for graduation). What an amazing place to learn. Agreed on Palo Alto though. It should feel like Cambridge, but sadly does not...
