A 28-Story Student Tower Proposed Next to Temple’s Campus

Quote:
Another piece of news came out yesterday, thanks to a presentation posted in anticipation of an upcoming Civic Design Review (CDR) meeting. Immediately across the street from another proposed residential tower, Landmark Properties is teaming with CUBE 3 on a 28-story tower at 1518-28 N. Broad St., at the SW corner of Broad & Oxford. Let’s scope out the corner (and the proposal across the street) before we get to the exciting details.

This is something I've dreamed about since I was a Temple student. The old Broad and Oxford Rite Aid, along with the grassy lot that abutted it, had no place on a section of North Broad littered by urban renewal blunders. I really hope this gets built!

I have a question because I support building this tower/skyscraper being built.

My question is this; why does the thread the height of 332' but the diagram says 413'? The 28th floor seems to be 404' and then the extension on the roof looks to have a roof line of 413. We could see something taller than Morgan Hall.

Height of the building is 413 feet above sea level. If you look at the ground elevation though, the ground elevation is 81 feet above sea level here. Therefore, building stands 332 feet above the ground.

28-Story Legacy On Broad Proposed At 1518-28 North Broad Street Near Temple University

Quote:
The North Philadelphia skyline is about to transform in a significant way thanks to The Legacy on Broad, a 329-foot, 28-story-tall high-rise proposed at 1518-28 North Broad Street next to the Temple University campus. Designed by Cube 3 Studio and developed by Landmark Properties, the tower will surpass Temple’s nearby 302-foot-tall, 28-story Morgan Hall North at 1601 North Broad Street to become the tallest building in North Central Philadelphia. The development will span 360,798 square feet and offer 289 residential units, comprised of 147 group living units and 142 multi-family apartments. The residences will be geared primarily to university students and will hold a total of 868 beds. The project will also include over 21,079 square feet of ground-floor retail space, parking for 78 cars and 100 bicycles, and over 6,000 square feet of outdoor public space.
