Hawthorne Park subdivision - 187 Byron Ave - Dorchester - Sifton

Sifton is planning a new subdivision on the south side of Dorchester called Hawthorne Park. Over 440 units of SFH, townhouses and some commercial/retail.

Funny that the overhead view they are using is out of date and doesn't show all the houses along the south side of Byron Ave. We looked at a house there spring of 2022 back when we thought we could get near the $1.1 million asking price for our house in west London. Loved the view of the farmer's field out the back door. Shortly after that house sold in the summer, this subdivision was announced. Glad we didn't end up getting it.

When this new sub division is fully built out in 10 years will add over 1000 heads in pillows to Dorchester. Would not be surprised to see other developers proposing new sub divisions in Dorchester as it is definitely one of London's more attractive bedroom communities with access to the 401 and major employers.
