MONTREAL | 1050 Rue de la Montagne | 128M/420 FT | 37 FLOORS

Tower just got approved after the city voted against it a few months back. 38 floors with 256 units in the already ultra-dense Bell Centre cluster in downtown Montreal.

Render is old, no idea if it has changed, but I know the city has told the developer to change it up and approved it with a lot of conditions.

That podium really looks incongruent. It is the building that had the large "Alouettes" (football team) mural, right? yep, here is the 2007 street view: https://www.google.com/maps/place/1050+R...867d!8m2!3d45.4958641!4d-73.5716278!10e5

That section of the street has changed beyond all recognition from the bombed out early 90s when I would walk it daily to/from the train station/Concordia U.

There used to be a prominent logo for the Montreal Alouettes on that brick building (the new base). the area was full of windswept parking lots. No longer.
