Plans Submitted To FAA For 853-Foot Tower Across From Brickell’s Simpson Park Hammock
Quote:
An application has been filed with the Federal Aviation Administration for yet another 800-foot tower in Brickell.
Plans for the new tower were filed with the FAA on August 3.
The tower is planned to top off at a height of 853 feet above ground, or 874 feet above sea level, the filing states.
Construction is estimated to begin in July 2023 and run through October 2026, according to the filing.
The project is known as 75 Broadway, according to the website of Ytech, the company that owns the property.
Across from 75 Broadway to the south is the Simpson Park Hammock, a nature preserve since 1913, and a remnant of what the landscape used to look like in the area .
To the north is the Cipriani Residences site, where construction on 3 towers rising as tall as 950 feet will soon begin.
Oh wow. This is some of Architectonica's better work in Miami.

Miami’s Urban Development Review Board voted unanimously to approve plans for Seven Broadway, a 54-story residential tower proposed by YTECH and designed by New York-based architecture firm Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF). The decision, made during the July 16th hearing, marks a significant milestone in advancing the Brickell project toward development.
Planned for a 16,647-square-foot site at 41 and 75 SW 15th Road, the tower will rise to a height of 682 feet 6 inches and include 113 residential units, 193 parking spaces across one basement and seven above-ground levels, and 113 bicycle spaces. The building program also features three primary amenity levels, located on floors 8, 49, and 50, with the topmost amenity being a rooftop pool terrace overlooking Simpson Park.
