TORONTO | KING Toronto | 187 FT | 16 FLOORS

Technically a mid-rise but hard to believe this site will be hosting one building.

This will be literally "a house of glass" - the exterior cladding (in addition to window glazing) is all glass blocks.

That's the small grid detail you see. There's a mock-up on site but I can't find it lol.

Suffice to say the condo corp will have a hefty 'water bill' line item in their monthly maintenance fees.

A closer look.

Gonna be fun to watch this (glass-block clad) cubist puzzle rise this year. Though not pre-fab, inspired in part no doubt by Safdie’s lego Habitat.

The first glass block ‘curtainwall’ appears at grade.

So what you're saying is, the people living there shouldn't throw stones?

May not stones. Perfect building for throwing patio furniture!
