Just to be clear, they are not just models; they are also Vancouverites, of course. It's a selection and arrangement that intends to capture an aspect of the city and its people.

These show well a thread woven into Vancouver that is easy to experience (sometimes needing a bit of bravery) but sometimes difficult to see within the forest of glass. Anyone with substance abuse, mental illness, or at the forefront of gentrification; anyone within poverty, social justice practice; or working as an artist, police officer, musician, paramedic, dancer, fireman, fashion designer, photographer, tourist shop operator, restauranteur, fentanyl rescuer, and so so many others - all live in part within this Vancouver. Vancouver is multiple in nature and always has been. These photos focus the fabric that remains from a difficult, less wealthy history of people who's later generations still live here.

nice, but this is more about tobacco addiction than heroin. i have seen bazillions of heroin addicts and they certainly all don't look like models. maybe as a kind of specific heroin chic fantasy thread? regardless, its cool to look at though.
