It does not look like the ward councillor supports this. He thinks the height/density is too high for the site and said he has heard some concerns from the neighbours in the area.
It's worth noting that this site is located in the designated Oxford/Wonderland transit village, which allows heights between 2s and 15s, with up to 22s allowed through bonus zoning (ie: affordable housing units, exceptional design, etc). 10 affordable housing units are proposed in the first building to be built (the 17s one I believe).
A staff report will be in the next planning committee agenda on whether or not Council should recommend the zoning change.
