Tower 1 (Phase 1) is unique to the site as it is placed slightly off-grid, aligned to City Parkway, yet oriented to 104 Avenue through a large corner plaza.

Future Tower 2 (Phase 2) is proposed to consist of a set of three volumes, with the largest volume at the base of the tower stepping back at level 8 and again at level 19. The podium includes a 17-storey office building, which will provide employment and daytime vitality to the neighborhood.

Future Tower 3 (Phase 3) is a proposed residential tower, relatively simple in form with an 8-storey podium, oriented towards 105 Avenue. Approximately 200 units of market rental units are proposed to be included in Tower 3.

The ground plane will include a combination of mixed uses, primarily focused on a lively central commercial building/market hall in the centre of the site, and a café/restaurant located at the base of the office podium. The layout of these uses is intended draw people into the site. The ultimate form of this building will be determined at a later date, through a subsequent Detailed Development Permit.

Glad this got its own thread . Thank you skymaster.

This proposal is overall muito bonita.

I love the alignment of Tower 1 to face the Skytrain rails.

Yeah, I know that the design isn't groundbreaking but the fact that this project achieves an acceptable density in accordance with its proximity to downtown Surrey and Surrey Central Skytrain Station, is something to be envied by downtown COV.

Can I super-size my order for the next batch of towers? Perhaps an 80fl tall drink of water?

Impressive! Interesting that towers 2 and 3 are same number of floors but different height.

Really hope this project pulls through and isn’t downsized or delayed for too long due to Xi and his government’s big gift to the world.

Looks like it is a gift from US again and hide behind the flu. Cut canadian medical supply and with the huge amount of patients so close to Canada.

Lot's of working on-going at the sales/presentation centre site on the north-west corner of the site.

They are expanding the size of the previous University District centre and they are also installing site services and creating a parking lot.

The sales centre will be ready by the end of the summer for sure, whether or not they look to begin sales is another story.

Maybe PCI's Plaza 1/2 will offer a litmus test about the market...

This project had it's third reading on May 25, 2020 thus it's been given it's conditional approval.

Looks like maybe demolition on the Brick is starting. There was a loader bringing heaps of debris out of it and there were some other construction vehicles there.

Interesting visual for this project here. Albeit, seems like an older rendition:

Pretty exciting project with a new tallest in Surrey, its density, its proximity to transit, and street experience. Bosa is not fooling around with this one.

About time. I wonder if they will start doing prep immediately after removal of the debris.
