Tivoli is the world famous amusement park in Vesterbro, very close to the Central Station and Rådhuspladsen. The park was founded in 1843 and is the world's 2nd oldest amusement park, after Dyrehavsbakken also in the vicinity of Copenhagen. It has served as a model for several parks and even buildings all over the world. It is Scandinavia's foremost tourist attraction with over 4.2 million visitors a year. There are two hotels (Nimb and Tivoli) theaters, concert halls, famous restaurants, de luxe cafés, fast food restaurants, a lake with a pirate ship, rides and attractions (two ride towers and 5 rollercoasters among them) and expensive specialty stores inside Tivoli. Hotel Nimb, an impressive 5-star hotel building in oriental style, here seen from the inside of the park. Nimb has only 17 rooms (of which 12 suites).
Hotel Nimb is built in a moorish historicist building from 1909 with 3 restaurants.
