Lots of parking. Does this have retail?

This maps to the corner of King Rd. Is that the correct location?

There's still not a lot on that stretch of North Service Rd. - Wescam, the Mercedes dealership, stuff near the Freeman interchange and other light industrial properties to the west.

Retail might eventually do well as part of this but is there enough of a critical mass for it just yet, with the power centre at Brant just a couple kms down the road?

That makes more sense (not that it wouldn't fit in Burlington - but given the lack of remaining industrial/commercial land the 403 service road would probably see corporate development instead, or light industry)

The address maps to a site near the truck stop. I wonder if it's going to be on the parcel of land on the east side of Casablanca Blvd, between the service road and the off ramp (the Fifth Wheel's address is 398 so I assume 565 is on the other side of the road to the west). Might even be on the west side of Casablanca depending where the street name changes to Winston and the accuracy of Google's map and geocoding.

Okay, that makes a very big difference. 6-9 stories in Grimsby is actually something of an important event!

Based on the video, disclaimers aside, it looks like this is going up directly east of the truck stop on the lake side. But the sales centre address is west of Casablanca (is it just a different site?).

There must be demand to convert that huge parcel of land on the lakeshore north of this development into residential (the one with the transmission towers). There has been so much going on between N. Service Rd. and Winston - lots of townhouses, now this.

If it were to happen, I'd hope they keep a strip of parkland along the water's edge.

There's also the Canadian Forces shooting range and training area just to the west. The value of that land will rise and I wonder if the Feds would consider selling it some day (there would be a large cost to move the range elsewhere though, or expand another to accommodate the activity)

Looks modular. Since one of the biggest modular builders in the Country is in Grimsby. I like it. Compared to the office parks that line the QEW from Hamilton to Mississauga.
