130-134 Wellington Street North | ? | 2 fl | Approved

From May 13 Spectator (cannot find article online :s)

"Hamilton video store owner Amed Dirani is the force behind the revival of a vacant office building on Wellington Street North into 10 condo units and an office. It's his first multi-unit project after years of buying and renovating houses. Capital for the project came from the several video stores he had franchised."

Anyone know which building? Is it the old one on the West side of Wellington bet King & King William? I hope so!

Property I'm Referring to

The building being renovated into apartments is 130-134 Wellington St N (south of Cannon, opposite Kelly)

Here is the Google Streetview:

Thanks, Palace!

That's too bad I've been hoping that bldg I mentioned would be renovated since I started HS at Cathedral many, many years ago.

Either way, I hope this convert brings in some money to an otherwise depressed corner of Dowtown.

The one 'condo' they built back in the late 90's at Welly & Wilson looks like a post-war Baghdad Bldg.

**Steeltown, think you could update the threat title now that we have details? **
