Interesting Facts/Records (in own words): Mont Agel TV Tower was built in 1946 as the first
broadcasting tower of RMC. It is a partially guyed tower consisting of a lattice tower
as basement on which the ground-guyed mast radiator is placed, which is electrically
insulated against the lower part of the structure, which is grounded.
Normally mast radiators are not built on towers as basements, so this structure was really unique.
Today this tower is not used any more for mediumwave broadcasting. It is a TV broadcasting site.
