City plans re: climate change

Mods, this might go better in another section of the forums, feel free to move it to business, politics and the economy if necessary or another section.

I just saw a couple city reports on climate change, linked from a CATCH article... would like to hear some other opinions on what the city's plans are and should be.

What struck me the most was how 61% of our greenhouse gases (over 8 million tonnes a year) come from the 2 steel mills, compared to 1 million tonnes that come every car and truck driven in Hamilton during the year. That's a lot of greenhouse gases (not to mention other pollutants spewed out) for a few thousand jobs IMHO...

Online, there's a few links:
The summarized 18-page "Taking Stock" document
Full 167-page Hamilton Air Pollutions and Greenhouse Gases Emissions Inventory document

The city also has a survey to gather feedback on this issue
