I thought it looked fat too, but then I counted the floors. haha.... 16 it is.

Not a fan of the butterscotch pudding color. I'm guessing (hoping) it won't look like that. I wonder if the other side is all blue glass?

Kind of a weird render... at least the ground floor part. Does this mean there will still be surface parking along Rue Victoria?

Sounds about right...add everything together and the skyline will be changed for the better. Lets hope that we get some additional residential towers going up too, there is a lot of potential for this area to become the “Brooklyn Heights” of ottawa.

They were hauling in the blasting mats for the dynamite today.

And the blasting is done, finally. For the past 5 months or so it was like having an earthquake at work multiple times a day! LOL

I still can't see how this building will have 16 floors. I am guessing it is because they start at floor 1 at the Maisonneuve level, which is a good 2 storeys below rue Victoria. But won't the first floor (or first 2 floors) be parking, seeing as they are below ground (unless you are on Maisonneuve)? Anyone know if there will be parking in this building?

Lots of cement pouring this morning. Two or three trucks were inside the site with another four or five lined up on Maisonneuve.

Was a long shot view, but it seems they are starting to set some of the support pillars for the lower levels.

This is going up fast now, should be poking above Victoria street by the end of April.

There is also what looks like an updated render of the building at the Maissonneuve level.

Nice to see 4 cranes in the Hull skyline, maybe a 5th for Cartier Wellington by the end of the year?

It is indeed a 16 story building, ground floor with office space up to level 14, the two above floors are mechanical rooms/floors.

We are glad and proud to say we'll be doing the curtain wall glass envelop.
