Calgary
Calgary is a great place to call home. I love the cool dry air, sunny skies, and warm chinook winds in the winter, and the feeling of a dynamic energy propelling the city. I wasn't born or raised in Calgary, but I have roots here as my dad was born and raised in Calgary and my mom came from near by High River.

Montreal
I consider Montreal my home town as I was mainly raised there. I love it but I had never gone back until this July for the Jazz Festival.
I plan to go back and spend more time there and visit the Eastern Townships again.

Bowen Island British Columbia
I rented a house on Bowen Island for July and August and then November and December. I haven't met my landlady yet and she trusted me enough to not charge me a damage deposit.

Vancouver, host city for the 2010 Winter Olympics and one of the world's most beautiful cities in my opinion
I have really enjoyed my time in the Vancouver area in 2009. Today is my last day here, but I'll have to come back as there is so much to see and do in Beautiful British Columbia.
My first time in Vancouver was when I was 4 years old and I don't remember much of the trip but I do remember my Uncle Squid (everyone called him that!) borrowed a Rolls Royce from a rich friend and arranged to pick up my mother and me on the tarmac at the airport when we arrived! He even had a cap on like a chauffeur would wear. My first and only time riding in a Rolls, and I've been slumming in Chevys, Chryslers, and Toyotas ever since.
on Boxing Day there was a line between fog and sun, it was a beautiful effect
