Amazing how that intersection's heritage buildings are almost all there still. Pagoda, the building on the opposite corner, most (if not all) of the buildings on the West side of John N, same thing on the East side as well including Treble Hall. They're in various states of repair/disrepair, but at least they're all still there. The entire Erwin block might still exist if it weren't for the fire that destroyed that part in the 1990's (?) I remember a Tally Ho restaurant on the ground floor. Someone posted a picture of it a long time ago.
edit: just found it, LikeHamilton posted it in the 87-89 King E. development thread about a year ago.

That must have been the rest of the Erwin block. The windows and structure seem to match. Tally Ho, a record store and "Olympia" or something on the ground floor.
