Google street view van in vancouver!!!!

Well, not much of a van. It was a sedan. But it had a Google Maps logo on teh side, and a giant 360 camera on the roof!

We were outside of Khai Thai on Seymour & Robson, and the car stopped at a red light crossing Robson. It was there for a good minute, and we danced and waved to it awaiting our eventual internet infamy!

Be on the lookout Vancouverites, this is actually happening!

Nice.

It came through Calgary and a couple of other cities, too.

Didn't get the chance to wave at it, though

hate to tell ya, but you won't be seen on the internet. due to Canadian privacy laws, all faces will be blurred.

So you'll just have to wear a gorilla costume so their technology can't identify a face.

I saw it 2-3 weeks ago and took a picture of it and a pose the next time I saw it. Saw 2 in Downtown yesterday as well.

Holy crabapple they covered a lot of streets, compared to some other cities. They even covered a lot of Mission.

So with the Golden Ears Bridge... when you go north on 201 St in Langley the van actually goes up the onramp... keep clicking north and you follow the viaduct for awhile, then suddenly fall back down onto the surface 201 St. lol.
