Philadelphia - Spring, 2007 (incld views from upper floors)

While in Philadelphia for the 2007 conference of the American Planning Association, I took a lot of pictures. Here they are. Yes, they are two years old. Sorry.

This is a sample. For the full set, go here.

Views from my hotel and my coworkers hotel:

Random City Center:

Comcast - still under construction.

City Hall is one of my all time favorite buildings.

Chinatown:

Geno's and Pat's.

Italian Market:

Old City:

Residential neighborhood between Rittenhouse and Washington Squares.

South Street:

Rittenhouse Square - definitely one of America's great urban parks:

Transit:

Great coverage. I love those upscale 3-4 story townhomes. Philly is blessed with tons of architectural history.

This is great, should have posted it sooner. Some of the pics look European with the old architecture and the weather.

10 years from now, this street will be the sight of constant traffic jams at night.

Great shots!

Great stuff!

This building at front center is badass! I've never noticed it before.

Thundertubs, that's The Metropolitan. It's got a great roof deck I've been dying to get to.

A very nice set, Cirrus. I see you even made your way southwest.
