Phoenix Bi-Weekly Construction Update Pics

Seems I go through downtown about every 2 weeks, figure I'll make a habit to give picture updates (as if it wasn't a habit already )

Metro Light Rail

Cityscape
- The area where the sales/marketing center will be built has been fenced off and utility work seems to be underway.

Atla Phoenix - Getting some color...

One Central Park east

Civic Space Park
- The support columns are getting a paint job, hopefully the netting isn't far away and preferably will be installed by Dec. 27th when the light rail opens. Additional trees have also been planted on the SW corner of the park.

The park is looking good... you can't really tell from the online cam.

What are they doing with the AE England building? Why have they exposed the brick in random locations?

Are they planning on exposing all of the brick?
Are they planning on leaving it like that as a funky look?
Are they planning to re-stucco parts of it and those are just prep work exposed areas to get new stucco?

Great pics.

I think they are planning to re-stucco the building, which is a shame, I would much rather see it all brick.

great pix - thx!
i would think that since the city Hist Preservation office is involved w/ the AE England bldg that the brick will be exposed (if that is how it was in the day.)
maybe that side doesn't matter as it looks like they are bldg something alongside that wall?

Great pix, thanks for posting! Love seeing the changes going on. Have to say that 44 Monroe is a great compliment to Chase, and I think OCPE will be as well.

The park is going to be a great spot. Nice to see they're planting trees that aren't tiny saplings, at least they look a little decent. I hope they expose the brick as well on the England building. Either way it should look nice though, glad to see they kept it.
