I'm a fan of train station architecture. Maryland has a lot of small Victorian depots from the 19th Century, mostly built by the B&O Railroad. The two best are generally considered to be at Point of Rocks and Gaithersburg, both of which still operate as MARC stations.

There are several more, though not as good. Here is one picture of Rockville (on the right). Although Rockville still has a very active station served by MARC, Amtrak and Metro, the platforms are at all new facilities, leaving the old depot to office use.

There are a few around my area. I only have pics of one of them though. Plus the one from westfield heritage centre of the old train station. I would like to get newer pics of the stations. Hopefully soon I'll be feeling better so I can get out and get them.
Not really, although as I understand it the Rockville station in the last picture is (or was) available as a plastic miniature for use in model train sets.
