They are called Stramps and yes they double as stairs and a ramp. They are numerous examples of them.

Hmm, I'm surprised I've never heard of them. They are much more interesting than the average stairway/ramp combination you find at the entrances of most buildings.

---> BUILDING NAME
---> link to photo credit

and one per post. if we all stick to the format, we'll have an organized and clean thread that is easy to view. a post with random huge photos is just hard on the brain and lacks clarity.
