A little bit of Washington DC

This is my first photo thread. I was in DC over Labor Day Weekend. Of course when I went over to Dupont Circle to take some pics, my camera's battery died.

Here is some music to enjoy while looking at my photos:

Cool pictures. Did you get any hassle for taking photos of the Metro?

Nope, no one bothered me. I was surprised, because I was taking pictures all over the place.

It's injera bread, not a tortilla!

That was some Ethiopian food my brother and I were eating. Going out to eat Ethiopian cuisine is such a 'DC' thing, because of the large Ethiopian population there. I live in Atlanta, and we have a large Ethiopian population, but it's nothing like DC's.

WMATA allows snapshot photography anywhere in the Metro system. If you're doing pro work then you're supposed to get prior permission.

Nice set of pics. Really shows some of DC's urban side. it's not all monuments. Thanks for the tour and welcome to SSP.

very nice. I am leaving for a camping trip in Shenandoah next week, and am going to make some stops down in that city.

Great thread!

For a newbie here, I am suprised you know to get the "picture of your lunch" shot in your thread.
