Wow you guys are going Loft Crazy, eh?
Are all these lofts selling as quickly as they're being developed?

From the Outlook on Cambridge paper, it says that the Tiger Brand outlet store will occupy 3,800 square feet of retail space at the base. The hunt is on for the other 1500 square feet of retail space. Residential parking will be a surface lot behind the building where the vacant space is. It will be a landscaped lot with access off Warnock street.

And here is an exiting quote from the article...

After tidying business up in Cambridge, Lindy said his Toronto-based company will be focusing its attention on a new project in the Kitchener core area.

This project will be a great addition to Galt. I love retrofits. Does anyone have any idea what that material is on the outside of the building? Is it real stucco?

3800 square feet of retail space has been leased to the Tiger Brand outlet store. 1500 square feet of retail space remains, but I'm not sure who's going to lease it.

There's crews on site working on the rear every day. The front looks a lot better than the previous picture, as does the back (but it still needs a lot of work) but the inside is still far from being complete. The January deadline in retrospect was a joke, and I'd be amazed if they got this done but August. I'd think October/November would be lucky (and that's if they plumbing and electrical stuff is already up to code).

The parking lot in the back of the building is finished and I saw normal, non-construction people entering the building. I'm thinking that the apartments are finished. However, the retail space is still vacant.

The residential part of the building looks finished, but the retail space is still vacant.

The first residents starting moving in around the end of July, and I think there was full occupancy around mid August. The big problem was that no one had blinds large enough for those windows.
