This shot is fantastic. The varying topography and the different kinds of trees and colours are gorgeous. I like how we have a nice mix of coniferous and deciduous trees in this city. I love those modern houses too.

I like this shot also. A good contrast between modern homes, and the old mansion style in the background.
It's probably because I have a newer tree. My house was just built a year ago.
That would make sense. Newer trees do take longer to catch up. I have a Matday in tha backyard that's probably 40 years old, and it gets buds late March and leaves on it around mid April.
It also depends on what part of the city has well. Some parts of the city take longer regardless of how mature the tree is. Edgemont on the top of the hill is a good example.
