MARSEILLE - projects

Second largest city of France, home of Euromediterranée urban project development (biggest project ever made in France since Paris la Defense).

3 skyscrapers and one midrise. Architects: Jean Nouvel, Jb Pietri, Y. Lion, and R. Carta.
Jean Nouvel will design a 120/130m tower which would be a mix between swiss re and agbar.
Still waiting for the renders.

Le Silo:
Concert hall (exact same "concert arena" than the famous Olympia in Paris)

Les terrasses du port (sort of mall such as Mare nostrum in Barcelona, with a swimming pool, beach soccer/rugby/volley stadium capacity for 2000 persons, fireworks and water shows and of course restaurants, bars/clubs and shops).

I'm really liking that CMA CGM Tower. Not the best location (elevated freeways...) but a damn fine design.

Kengo Kuma should know that american cars are a very rare species in a Marseille.
