Atlanta's stretch of skyline from some vantage points reminds me alot of that of Manhattan when approaching NYC from New Jersey. The Boa tower could easily pass for what the Empire State Building is for NYC. Nice pics, you should save those for the future when there are alot more tower in the skyline for comparison.
I agree...and I can't wait to see that same view in a few years as multiple mixed-use and residential towers of the 20- to 40-story variety are either proposed are already under construction in the "gap" between Bank of America and One Atlantic Center.

"Dazzled by the needles of light stitching the water, I turned to watch him watch them. I noticed his eyelashes were reflected in his eyes, like awning in windowpanes. As I tried to make sense of that reflection, I found I could not look away. His irises were brown, clouding into orange with brighter flecks around his pupils. Then it became as important not to look as to look, I feared I would be lost in rush of bronze motes."
That photo is capturing the primarily north-south axis of the midtown and downtown skylines, a distance of approximately three miles (in the third pic). Those skylines taken from either a north or south perspective would appear much denser. However, as everyone knows, Atlanta is the nation's least dense large metro.
