Interesting Facts/Records (in own words): Tower was used for a overhorizon directional radio link to Clenz
in West-Germany and was therefore equippeduntil 1996 with 2 large dish antennas ( diametre: 18 metres). Therefore the
tower is from very solid construction type.
The tower played therefore a very important role for the telephone link between former West Berln and West Germany.
Today it is used for moble phone and conventional directional radio links.
