QUÉBECitySKYLINE from far away - new angles

I Hope you'll enjoy. Oh well, I think it looks good with the mountains behind.
Even the 2nd skyline of Québec City (Arrondissement Ste-Foy) which is far from downtown, close to the bridges looks fine, IMO.

FROM WEST - ZOOM!! (from an overpass, last exit before the bridges)

Last one from east... wider

oh my gosh that last shot, how interesting. I even saved it, how cool is it to be standing in a corn field with a skyline just over the hill !!

*dies once more*

how do you do it?

Serge, next time you go to QC on the 40, stop at the tourist info place, right before you go downhill.. the view there is spectacular as well, and only YOU could make it look as good as these!!

I think it's Le Relais, Lac Beauport.
Never went to Stoneham myself, but I think it's twice the height... and facing to another direction.

Thank you all.

Looking at Google map/satellite + Le Relais's website, it is Le Relais in Lac Beauport.
There are some pictures... http://farm1.static.flickr.com/148/3...530f5b2f_o.jpg

Le Relais is 224m vertical drop.

Stoneham is at 420m (what I thought)

Mont Sainte Anne --»» 625m vertical drop
Le Massif, 3/4 hour east of Mt. Ste Anne has 770m... and a lot of snow straight on the river.

Sorry for all these posts...

Very nice pictures, but honestly, Quebec has a pretty boring SKYLINE.

Hey graupner, for once I have found it interesting

Downtown from Ste-Pétronille view (Ile d'Orléans) with this 300mm zoom would be awesome, I'll have to go, don't you think?

Thank's, merci.

I've been on vacation to Mt St Anne twice...when I was a kid. It's pretty good skiing for the east-side of the continent. Isn't Stoneham where the tubing park is at? The name sounds familiar. Probably the coldest temperature I have ever experienced was at the cathedral of St Anne de Beaupre (sp?). It was about -20F that day.
