1. No, like-for-like replacement - 4 lanes before (2 NB and 2 SB) and 4 lanes after.
2. Groat Road is still open, but at half capacity (1 lane in each direction). They closed the lanes on one side of the bridge during replacement and switched to the other side after work was completed.
3. Traffic is slower at rush hour, but no huge differences outside of that. Pedestrian and cyclist access isn't great, as the 'multi-use path' is severely constricted on the bridge during construction. The previous 2 sidewalks on either side of the bridge are now down to just one, which itself has been narrowed because of construction.
