Blurry overhead shot - have to give PMC credit for developing with awkward and cumbersome shaped lot!
Great shot! I've driven past this several times on Trader Joes runs, but it did not dawn on me how close this is to the river (maybe it's the address too, 23 across from 30th)
If I am not mistaken, yesterday it looked like they were disassembling the tower crane that was in place for the low rise project a couple blocks away on 23rd street. It looked like PMC may have been moving it over (piece by piece) to this project. Hopefully the next stop is the lot next to Trader Joe's!
They are currently adding the tower crane as we speak.
And it is now completely erected, including the horizontal boom, as I just saw from 20th St while passing by on a bus.

It's going to be interesting to see how this project interacts with the Mainline Schuylkill Bridges project, especially if PMC moves ahead with building over our Main Line. We'll be refurbishing seven brides between Schuylkill and 20th Street Interlockings very soon, so I'm wondering about how space constraints may affect the project.
