King William seems like it’s just a couple more developments away from being a proper street through the whole downtown… hopefully it happens soon.

Popping through the skyline, looks like they're finishing floor 10, so 4 more to go:

Every time I see this view from the Denniger's parking lot I cringe seeing the cinder block wall on Kiwi and hope that something will be done to remedy it.

I'm pretty sure cladding didn't beging fully getting installed until 1 Jarvis started so I think there wasn't room to install easily, plus 1 Jarvis will be covering some of it, so I think they opted to wait until after 1 Jarvis was complete.

is it just me or did they change the way the back looks? It doesn't seem to match the render..

Perhaps they're not done yet, but I think you're right, and I'm not a fan of the changes. Instead of a human scaled smaller separate looking buildings, it looks like they've gone with massive glass wall instead. Both sides look different than the render to my eye.

I believe this is the latest rendering of the Ferguson side. This looks to line up with what is getting built:

The Jarvis side looks like it's getting built as rendered here as well:

I had forgotten there were new renders with a changed design.

If it winds up looking like the renders, it'll be a great addition. Really like the look of it.

Especially with real brick. I suspect it will be panels though

I still feel they coulda done more with the brick - that an I'm never a fan of pure brick without lintels for windows - makes the building look too brutalist/ellen faircloudesque - I mean all they did was turn the bricks up above the windows lol.. sigh.. craftsmanshiip is dead lol..

the podium feels like an afterthought vs being the focus. I mean even its neighbour freshly made did more..

I think is just really hate this specific ultra modern style of building, so it probably doesn't matter in the end as I'd hate it regardless lol..

Personally I think it actually will be real brick - there isn't enough surface area between windows to merit panels here.
